TALLINN: India-Estonia consultations on UNSC Issues
TALLINN: India and Estonia held bilateral consultations on UNSC issues today using the VTC platform.
The Estonian delegation was led by Mr. Lembit Uibo, Director General, Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia along with officials from International Organisations, Asia and Pacific Divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Estonian Embassy at New Delhi and the Permanent Mission of Estonia to the UN. Mr. Prakash Gupta, Joint Secretary (UNP & Summits) led the Indian delegation and was joined by officials from the Central Europe Division of MEA, the Permanent Mission of India New York and the Embassy of India in Helsinki, which is concurrently accredited to Estonia.
Both sides discussed a wide range of issues on the UNSC agenda, including on each other’s priorities during the UNSC tenure. They agreed to work closely together on key issues on the UNSC agenda.
