NEW DELHI: Update on the eMigrate Portal
NEW DELHI: It has been reported that eMigrate portal has not been functioning properly for the last few days. Due to this, Emigration Clearances (ECs) are not being processed on the portal.
The Ministry is working with the Service Provider to urgently resolve the technical issues and restore the system back to normal.
In view of this unprecedented situation, all Protectors of Emigrant (PoEs) offices have been briefed on granting ECs manually. The PoEs will share the list of such emigrants with Bureau of Immigration (BOI) to facilitate the smooth boarding of migrant workers onto their designated flights.
All registered Recruiting Agents (RAs) are being informed to contact their respective PoEs to obtain ECs manually. PoEs will also be processing all pending requests manually till eMigrate portal is restored.
