HAVANA : Visit of Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi, MoS (External Affairs & Culture) to Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia
HAVANA : Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi, MoS(ML) will be paying an official visit to Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia from 13-20 January 2023. This will be her first visit to these countries.
During her visit to Cuba from 13-14 January 2023, MoS (ML) will meet the Speaker of National Assembly and Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Culture. MoS (ML) is also expected to call on the President of Cuba.
MoS (ML) will visit Guatemala from 15-17 January 2023, where she will call on the President and the Vice President; and, hold detailed discussions with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Public Health & Social Assistance, and Energy & Mines. MoS (ML) will also have interaction with the business community at Antigua City.
In San Salvador from 17-19 January, MoS (ML) will call on the President of El Salvador and have meetings with Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Culture, and Economy.
Marking the first visit from India since the government of President H.E. Mr. Luis Arce Catacora took over in Bolivia, MoS (ML) will call on the President and have meetings with Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Hydrocarbons & Energies.
MoS (ML) will also address and interact with the Indian diaspora and participate in Yoga events and Indian Film Festivals in all these countries.
