CHISINAU: 2nd India-Moldova Foreign Office Consultations
CHISINAU: India and Moldova held the 2nd Session of Foreign Office Consultations (FOCs) on 4 October 2024 in New Delhi.
The Indian side was led by Shri Tanmaya Lal, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs and the Moldovan side was led by Mr. Sergiu Mihov, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Moldova.
During the FOCs, both sides held discussions on bilateral, regional and international issues. Bilateral discussions included political relations, trade, cultural relations and people-to-people contacts. Co-operation between the two countries in international and multilateral fora was also discussed.
Moldova opened an Embassy in Delhi last year in June.
Both sides agreed to hold the next session of FOCs in Chișinău at mutually convenient dates.
