MINTEVIDEO : 5th Foreign Office Consultations between India and Uruguay
MINTEVIDEO : The 5th Foreign Office Consultations between India and Uruguay were held on 06 March 2023 in New Delhi. The Indian delegation was led by Shri Saurabh Kumar, Secretary (East) and the Uruguayan side was led by H.E. Dr. Nicolas Albertoni, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government of Uruguay. The last round of consultations was held in November 2021 at Montevideo.
Reviewing the ongoing bilateral cooperation, both sides expressed satisfaction at growing pace of engagement and resolved to further strengthen political, economic and cultural ties and explore new area cooperation such as audio visual, and conclude at an early date agreements under discussion.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
Both sides agreed to hold the next consultations at a mutually convenient date in Montevideo.
